Hello dancers! Another great night at the Shadow this past Tuesday. You really need to come out and enjoy our free mid-week dance opportunity! Look at the extra events section for dates.
Wanted to remind you once more of two important things to you:
1) Membership meeting on March 21st, 7 PM in the basement of the studio. We'll be discussing issues facing the club affecting everything from a normal Sunday to our biggest events. Please come out and give us your opinions, the board is looking for guidance from the membership. Members get in free that night, so no excuses!
2) Visit our website! www.wichitaswingdance.com features a calendar of upcoming events, a blog, an improved photo gallery, and info on the upcoming Sunflower Swing!

Hello dancers! Thanks to everyone who came out to make Soul Night an awesome evening. If you missed it, you missed out.
As promised last week, your board met, and we'll be having a membership meeting March 21st, at 7 PM in the basement. We need current members to be there, as we have issues to discuss. Everything from a normal Sunday night to your favorite events like the Christmas Party, the Sockhop, the Anniversary, or your favorite live band night will be affected, so please make every effort to be there. It just so happens to be member appreciation night, so as a member you'll get in free! In advance we thank you for making the time to be there.

Your board meets this Tuesday and will be discussing some issues critical to the immediate and long-term future of the society. Consequently, we'll be holding a membership meeting later this month. Be watching this email and the front table on Sunday nights for details. We will want your input, as the changes we face impact you the membership directly. I can't stress how important this is to you, and how much we need you to be in attendance. Expect a meeting at 7 PM on a Sunday night in the basement, we'll have the date for you soon.

Extra early notice for an extra big workshop....
April 24th is Swing On This, presented by Old Town Ballroom and the Lindy Bombers. You'll get Evan and Oscar teaching 4 pairs of classes, so there's a little something for everyone, beginner to advanced! Classes run from noon to 5, dancing that night from 9-1. The entire day's dancing adventure is $30, classes are $10 each individually, and the dance is $5. Look for class information in this email or on the website in the coming weeks.....

April 18 - It's a wait that will definitely be worth it, as we bring in Cool Blue! Plus, it'll be a deluxe night with three hours of live music! That means the band starts early so don't be late....

March 27th - Black and White Party at Old Town Ballroom, 7:30-10:00 PM, a variey of music will be played, a dance lesson will be held, and refreshments are provided, yours for only $10!
