WSDS Weekly 6/27/13

Hello dancers!

 

Swinging Sunday's starts at 7:30 PM with the drop in East Coast Swing class and open dancing from 8-10 PM.

 

Interested in being on the board?  The WSDS 2013-2014 board elections will take place on July 21^st.  See the requirement in the election packet attached to this email.  Your self-nomination form with contact information, photo and election speech stating what the nominee has to offer the society must be submitted to me (Missy Hawkins) at mkosings03@gmail.com by July 12, 2013.  The election ballot of candidates will be published by July 14, 2013.  The election will take place at our board meeting July 21, 2013 at 7:30 PM upstairs.

 

We have some fantastic things coming up in the month of July.  We have Soul Night on July 7^th, July 14^th we have our silly dance contest, July 21^st elections, July 28^th is our birthday jam.

WSDS Weekly 6/20/13

Hello dancers!

 

WSDS has been invited to the Care to Dance studio party this Saturday evening. "The Great Gatsby" is the theme for this month's party.  Everyone is encouraged to dress from the era.  The event is 7-10 PM with a cost of $10 per person.  Light hors d' oeuvre's and beverages are included in the admission price.

Hello dancers!

 

Thank you to Evan and the event crew of Chelsea, Nick, Bonny, and Liz in making the anniversary party WichitAwesome!  Thank you to those who attended and/or volunteered their home and their time to help make this our most successful Sunflower Swing to date.  Check our Facebook page at Wichita Swing Dance Society to see pictures and videos of the festivities.

 

This Sunday celebrate Father's Day with WSDS.  Bring your Dad and he gets in free.  Series classes will resume for those enrolled.  Join us for the drop in East Coast Swing class at 7:30 PM and open dancing from 8-10 PM.
