Hello dancers! 

 

Thank you another great week of dancing.  This week we're dancing at Morning Star Community Church.  Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with WSDS and have a birthday dance if your birth month is May.

 

Harry and Amy Reese are excited to announce the Harry Reese Dance Studio will reopen for WSDS on June 3^rd.  We are thankful for having space to dance while away but are enthusiastic for the luxury of dancing on wood floors.  Be sure to thank them when you see them for all their hard work for which we reap the benefits of each week.  To celebrate our return to the studio June 3^rd is Soul Night.

 

Sunflower Swing is around the corner. Consider a wonderful opportunity to grow as a dancer in your own backyard.  For those of you that are unable to attend the entire event there is a la carte pricing available.  Housing and volunteering opportunities are also available.  Mark your calendar for June 22-24, 2012 www.sunflowerswing.com.  Click the Register tab to order your t-shirt.

Thank you coming out to dance.  Due to contractor delays we are dancing at Morning Star Community Church until the end of May.  We appreciate your patience, everyone is eager to be back at the Harry Reese Dance Studio.  Soul Night is postponed for our first night back in the studio.

WSDS Weekly 5/10/12

Hello dancers! 

 

Thank you for another great evening of dance. We will continue this week at Morning Star Community Church located at 11010 E Kellogg Drive, Wichita, KS 67207. 

 

I had the opportunity to meet with Harry and Amy Reese this week and we are excited about the studio repairs/renovations.  WSDS is hoping and planning to be back at the studio on May 20^th (predicated on repairs being finished).  To celebrate our studio homecoming we have scheduled Soul Night! 

 

Sunflower Swing is just a few short weeks away, for those of you who aren't familiar with Sunflower Swing I would suggest you go to the website below.  The class, dance and contest schedules are listed.  Don't miss a wonderful opportunity to grow as a dancer in your own backyard.  There are several ways for you to get involved in addition to attending this event.  Consider volunteering to defray the cost or house some of our out of town dancers.  Simply respond to this email indicating how you would like to assist or give us your information on Sunday.  Mark your calendar for June 22-24, 2012 www.sunflowerswing.com.

WSDS Weekly 5/3/12

Hello dancers! 

 

Attendance has been fantastic even in the face of a different venue.  Thank you for all those who stayed to helped with the clean up at the end of the evening.  We will continue the next two weeks at Morning Star Community Church located at 11010 E Kellogg Drive, Wichita, KS 67207. 

 

Congratulations to Elaine Pischnotte for winning the Solo Jazz Competition.  Thank you to the four brave folks who competed.

 

Kick off this Sunday with the Series classes starting at 6:30 PM.  The ECS drop in class at 7:30 PM. It is dance card Sunday!
