This Month's Classes: Intermediate Lindy Hop taught by Evan & Megan 6:30-7:30  Intro to Swing 7:30-8:00 Taught by a lovely variety of teachers.  There will be additional teachers substituting. Next Month's Classes: The key to unlocking your own moves.  Upcoming Events: November 29th is Soul Night and the Birthday Jam December 6th is Dance Card Sunday.  December 13th is the Christmas Party December 27th is the Birthday Jam Extra Extra! World class instruction, fantastic live bands and a whole bunch of fun competitions to watch mixed in. Inspiration Kevin St. Laurent and Jo Hoffberg have wonderful musicality and body movement. I also love Jo's connection to the audience and Kevin. They make wonderful performers. I don't recall ever taking classes from them, but I really want to. Turns out they will be in Austin for a workshop weekend January 22nd. Who wants to go?!?! There are so many moves in this routine that I would love to learn how to do. Homework Did you know that Budapest Hungary had a Lindy Hop Scene? I sure didn't. This is a video from Lindy Shock, a recent workshop weekend. Check out their website too. Looks like they have a hopping scene chalk full of style. Arnas and Kamile won first place with this routine. I adore their musicality.
