Weekly Update - Christmas Eve!
Hello dancers! You guys are on fire right now! Great turnouts at the WSDS Christmas party, Harry's Christmas party, last Sunday night, and the Shadow this past Tuesday. If you aren't out dancing you are missing out!
Very important note about this Sunday: It's your last chance to pay for the NYE party in advance. Weekly Update 12/10
Hello dancers! I know the weather outside is frightful, but the dancing is so delightful. We have some great reasons for you to come out and dance, so don't let the chilly weather spoil your fun.
Just wanted to draw your attention to the fact that you can now purchase your advance tickets to our NYE party! Details are in the attached flyer, don't wait to claim your spot at the swingingest party in town! Buy them in advance for just $10, or $15 at the door. Either way, this is the place to be on Dec 31st.
One more quick note: Since the band this weekend starts at 7, ("What Band?" you say? Keep reading.....) there will be no lessons in the basement. A brief 30 minute beginner lesson will happen upstairs.

THIS WEEK
Friday - Cool Blue will be playing FREE at Players Sports Bar (6200 W. 21st St. N.) from 9 PM to 1AM! There will be more swing early and more rock and roll late. A little something for everyone, and at no cost!
Saturday - In case you missed it the first time, Cool Blue will be back at Players! All the details are the same, they just wanted to be sure you could all make it out!
Sunday - WSDS CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!!! There are so many cool things about this I need a list:
1) Dave Stephens Band from California is playing from 7-10! That's three hours of the best band you'll hear in the studio in 2009!

Weekly Update 12/3
Hello dancers! It's December and we have a lot of dancing to do before 2010!
If you are not a member, this Sunday is an excellent opportunity for you to become one. A year long membership costs $15 for students/military/over 55, and $25 for everyone else.
If you join this Sunday, you don't pay to get in, so you save $5. The following Sunday is our Christmas party, where members get in free (everyone else is $10), so you save $10. That's $15 in two weeks! You'll save money every other week you come dance, but you'll be well on the way to having your membership pay for itself if you join this week!
Now on to the dancing stuff:
THIS WEEK
Sunday - It's a big day for dancing. You've already been told why it's a great chance to join, but you also can win door prizes with Dance Card Sunday! That's right, rewarding you for spending a few minutes on the floor with your fellow dancer.....several times. Plus, West Coast Swing lessons start!

January 30th - The Lindy Bombers are bringing you another fabulous workshop to sate your appetite. This time the focus is on Balboa and Collegiate Shag! Classes will run from 10 AM to 1 PM, and are just $7 a piece, $15 for all three! Keep your eyes open for more details....

December 13th - The Dave Stephens Band, all the way from the West Coast will play from 7 until 10. This is the best band you will hear in the studio all year, hands down. Do yourself a favor and come join the party.
January 24th - The Benders the Benders the Benders the Benders the Benders the Benders! Come catch a local favorite, this is a band you must see live.
