Hello dancers! I know the weather outside is frightful, but the dancing is so delightful. We have some great reasons for you to come out and dance, so don't let the chilly weather spoil your fun.
Just wanted to draw your attention to the fact that you can now purchase your advance tickets to our NYE party! Details are in the attached flyer, don't wait to claim your spot at the swingingest party in town! Buy them in advance for just $10, or $15 at the door. Either way, this is the place to be on Dec 31st.
One more quick note: Since the band this weekend starts at 7, ("What Band?" you say? Keep reading.....) there will be no lessons in the basement. A brief 30 minute beginner lesson will happen upstairs.
We have a few new events to tell you about, so read carefully....
THIS WEEK
Friday - Cool Blue will be playing FREE at Players Sports Bar (6200 W. 21st St. N.) from 9 PM to 1AM! There will be more swing early and more rock and roll late. A little something for everyone, and at no cost!
Saturday - In case you missed it the first time, Cool Blue will be back at Players! All the details are the same, they just wanted to be sure you could all make it out!
Sunday - WSDS CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!!! There are so many cool things about this I need a list:
1) Dave Stephens Band from California is playing from 7-10! That's three hours of the best band you'll hear in the studio in 2009!
2) Door prizes will be drawn for

WORKSHOPS

January 30th - The Lindy Bombers are bringing you another fabulous workshop to sate your appetite. This time the focus is on Balboa and Collegiate Shag! Classes will run from 10 AM to 1 PM, and are just $7 a piece, $15 for all three! Keep your eyes open for more details....

Sunday - Dave Stephens Band, did I mention they start at 7 PM?
December 19th - Harry is hosting his Christmas Party, and the live musical stylings of Dale Kenny & the Nite Classiks will be featured! A wide range of music will be there, and it all starts at 8 PM. Bring $5 to get in, some snacks or beverage if you like, and of course your dance shoes!
January 24th - The Benders the Benders the Benders the Benders the Benders the Benders! Come catch a local favorite, this is a band you must see live.
