WSDS Weekly 7/12/12

Hello dancers! 

 

We are looking forward to another great Sunday of dancing. 

 

Sunday is the last day to submit your information for the WSDS 2012-2013 board elections.  See the requirement in the election packet attached to this email.  Your self-nomination form with contact information, photo and election speech stating what the nominee has to offer the society must be submitted to the front table or emailed to Sylvia Dalton by July 15, 2012.  The election ballot of candidates will be published by July 22, 2012.  The election will take place at our membership meeting July 29, 2012 at 6:30 PM.

 

THE UNDERGROUND at Harry Reese Dance Studio is a new venue for live music from local young musicians.  We would like to support this new venture on July 28, 2012.  Our very own John Colquitt will be playing in one of the Jazz bands.  Come out and dance 7-11:30 PM.

July 15^th  – WSDS Swinging Sunday – Deadline for self-nomination.

July 22^nd   – WSDS Swinging Sunday – Election candidates published.

July 29^th   – WSDS Swinging Sunday – Membership meeting/election and birthday jam.

 

 

OTHER CLASSES

Monday nights the Lindy Bombers meet at Morningstar Community Church with classes for intermediate and advanced levels.   Class starts at 7:30, taster class at 8:30.  Check out www.lindybombers.com for details!
