By now, you should know about Sunflower Swing, our annual educational event. Alright, it's a party! We have workshops, fun contests and dancing 'til 3. If you need to know more or register, check out http://www.sunflowerswing.com.
Many of our Wichita dancers welcome out-of-town visitors into their homes. This is a great way to meet dancers from other scenes and expand your circle of Lindy Hop friends. You might decide to visit their city for dancing sometime! All you need is some floor space and a shower. If you haven't hosted before, don't worry, it's easy and our visitors will be very grateful.
If you are in the Wichita area and can host dancers for the weekend of April 15-17, send an email to sunflowerswing@gmail.com with the following information:
- Your name and the address where you will host, so your guests can find the place.
- Cell phone number or best contact number, provided to your guests for coordination.
- Number of people you can host.
- Whether you have pets.
- Anything else you think is important.
Even if you are not coming to Sunflower Swing (though we hope you will reconsider), you can still be a host.
