Hello dancers! It's finally 2010, and it is time to dance! You have a great chance to dance to some live music this Saturday at the Blues Ball! It's at the Cotillion, doors open at 7, fun starts at 8. There will be MULTIPLE LIVE BANDS, check out this link for more details:

BIG EVENTS
July 16-18, 2010 - It's definitely not to early to start thinking about our 10th Anniversary! Plans are rapidly coming together, rest assured it will be a great time!

CLASSES
We're kicking off 2010 with something just a little bit different: Balboa! Born in California it now covers the globe, this is your chance to get in.
Upstairs:
6:30 - Beginner Swing I
7:15 - Beginner Swing II
Downstairs:
6:30 - Intermediate Lindy Hop
7:15 - Balboa

February brings another chance to add some flair to your East Coast Swing!
Upstairs:
6:30 - Beginner Swing I
7:15 - Beginner Swing II

6:30 - Intermediate Lindy Hop
7:15 - Advanced East Coast Swing

WORKSHOPS
You knew it couldn't be too long until another one happened, this one is just around the corner....

January 30th - the Lindy Bombers are back and this time they're bringing you something a little bit different. This workshop will have a little balboa and introduce Collegiate Shag!
10 AM - Build you Balboa! - We'll pick up where the January Balboa classes have left off with some exciting moves to build up your Bal repertoire!
11 AM - Collegiate Shag isn't just for College - An intro to Collegiate Shag, we'll focus on beginning technique, rhythm, and give you moves to look good on the dance floor.
Noon - Shag in Style - We'll build on the previous class, as well as integrate our shag into our swing!
Classes are at the studio, $7 each or $15 for all three!

LIVE BANDS
January 24th - The Benders are coming! Check out a flyer on Sunday night if you need more reasons to mark this as a very special evening!

EXTRA EVENTS
January 26th - Swing Night at the Shadow!

February 27th - Ronnie Choy DJing at the Moose Lodge! That's right, our favorite DJ will be spinning, and you can be there dancing for just $8.


All for now, multiple live bands are in the works, a few special performances are in the works, and of course all the chances to dance we can throw at you. Your board is working hard to make this the best dance year yet.
