Hello dancers! This Sunday is your last chance to register for Sunflower Swing at our awesome discount rate of $50! Wondering what that gets you? Here's you answer:
Friday Night (July 16) We're heading over to Old Town Ballroom for a welcome dance! We'll get down from 7-10 PM to the sounds of DJ's from Kansas City and California.
Saturday (July 17) the learning begins at Harry's, with classes taught by our guest instructors: Kim Clever, David Frutos, Christy Palmer, and Nate Woodhams. There'll be classes for all levels, including classes covering slides, aerials, moves featured in the movies, charleston and more! Classes run from 10 AM to 3:15 PM
The fun doesn't stop as we head out to the Dance Studio from 8-Midnight for an evening of live music with Pivot Point, Omaha DJ's, teacher showcases, and dance contests that give you the chance to win passes to Cowtown Jamborama, Southern Fried Swing, Sunflower Swing, The Rhythm is Jumpin', and more!
If that isn't enough we'll move over to Old Town Ballroom for more dancing to the tunes of KC DJ's from midnight to as late as you can stay (yes, that's a challenge).
Then Sunday (Juy 18) we bring you more classes, at the Dance Studio from 10-3:15. These classes are for all levels, including easy tricks and shag!
That night we wrap up the weekend in style with the Swing Daddies playing live music at Harry's from 7-10 PM!
So if you're keeping track, that's 4 dances, 2 days of classes, 2 live bands, and too much fun for you to want to miss!

Sunday is a dance card night and we'll be teaching Shim Sham!
Monday the Immanuel Scott Big Band is playing at WSU in the amphitheater behind Duerksen Fine Arts Center. Starts at 7 PM, and it's free. Dance space may be limited.

LIVE BANDS
If you aren't at Sunflower Swing you're missing the chance to indulge in a double dip of Live Music! Pivot Point makes their debut playing for you on July 17th, while the Swing Daddies hit the studio like a hurricane on July 18th. July we only have 2 nights of normal classes, so we're giving you a chance to catch up on the line dances we love so much. The 11th we'll cover Shim Sham, the 25th we'll cover Line Charleston.
