Wichita Swing Dance Weekly

STARTS TODAY! Rock Chalk Swing in Lawrence KS, Feb 27-March 1st.  I will be selling this one hard. They have great instructors and it is sooooo close. I say that we caravan up there! Lindy Diversion in Denver Co, March 6th-8th. If you love a variety of music and swing dance styles, this is a killer event.  Lindyfest and Lonestar Championships in Houston TX, March 12-15th. If you love watching the best of the best compete and love taking classes from world class instructors, this is your event. You could even make a few hundred new friends by the end.  Sunflower Swing is the weekend that you have been waiting for right in your back yard!!!! Featuring 3 full nights of dancing and two days of workshops. Do not miss out on this fun event. Rocky Mountain Girl Jam in Denver CO, April 24th-26th. After our own Sunflower Swing, you may not want the party to stop so head on over to Denver to dance the weekend away. Blue Bonnet Bash in Dallas TX, June 5th-7th.  Greenwood Swingout in Tulsa OK, May 22nd-24th. A guaranteed fun time! You can expect a great turnout from our group. Homework Tandem Charleston is such a wonderful tool to have in your dance move toolbox. It provides a lot of visual punch for little energy. This is especially useful during live and fast music. This couple does a fair amount of it during this dance which helps maintain their stamina.
