Wichita Swing Dance Weekly

This Month's Classes: Partnered Charleston 6:30-7:30 Taught by Isaiah and Amanda $15 for 3 classes.  Intro to Swing 7:30-8:00 Taught by Brandon and Ava There will be additional teachers substituting. Next Month's Classes: Dips, Tricks, & Shines taught by John and Megan Upcoming Events: February 8th is Dance Card Sunday.  February 22nd is the Birthday Jam  Sunflower Swing April 17-19th Register now!   Extra Extra! We want to hear what you think. If you have an idea let us know. Got a concern on your mind, lay it on us. We want your experience to be fun and worry free. Homework Dax Hock and Alice Mei show a sharply choreographed piece. Performed nearly seven years ago, they won the competition. You can also  find current videos of these world class teachers.  Travel Opportunities: If you're looking to meet more dancers and skyrocket your skills, there's no better way than to hop in the car and find a weekend workshop.   NEXT WEEKEND!!!!! Rock Chalk Swing in Lawrence KS, Feb 27-March 1st.  I will be selling this one hard. They have great instructors and it is sooooo close. I say that we caravan up there! Lindy Diversion in Denver Co, March 6th-8th. If you love a variety of music and swing dance styles, this is a killer event.  Lindyfest and Lonestar Championships in Houston TX, March 12-15th. If you love watching the best of the best compete and love taking classes from world class instructors, this is your event. You could even make a few hundred new friends by the end.  Rocky Mountain Girl Jam in Denver CO, April 24th-26th. After our own Sunflower Swing, you may not want the party to stop so head on over to Denver to dance the weekend away. Blue Bonnet Bash in Dallas TX, June 5th-7th.  Greenwood Swingout in Tulsa OK, May 22nd-24th. A guaranteed fun time! You can expect a great turnout from our group. If you have floor space and a shower you can host! Shoot us an email and we can match you with a dancer from out of town. They would greatly appreciate it.
