THIS WEEK
Sunday - Another awesome Swingin' Sunday with Advanced East Coast classes going on.

Tuesday - It's a very special Swing Night at the Shadow! Yes, it's still free. Yes, food and drink are still available. Yes, all ages are still welcome. Yes, you can still dance to swing music from 6-9 PM. BUT, from 7-9 you won't be dancing to a DJ, you'll be dancing to the swingin' sounds of COOL BLUE! That's right everybody, a FREE LIVE BAND. That's hard to beat, hope you'll come check it out.....

CLASSES
This month we're having Janet expand your east coast vocabulary. We'll be featuring Advanced East Coast Swing all month! It'll all look like this:
Upstairs:
6:30 - Beginner Swing I
7:15 - Beginner Swing II
Downstairs:
6:30 - Intermediate Lindy Hop
7:15 - Advanced East Coast Swing

December we have a holiday treat for you: West Coast lessons with Swing Dance Hall of Fame member Harry Reese! This is a versatile and fun dance you don't want to miss out on...

LIVE BANDS
Tuesday - It's Cool Blue at the Shadow, free with music starting at 6....

December 13th - It's our Christmas Party! If that wasn't enough it's your chance to hear the best band we will have had in the studio all year....the Dave Stephens Swing Orchestra! Direct from California, their annual pilgremage to spread swing through the midwest hits our town again. Don't miss it!

WORKSHOPS
November 14th - The Lindy Bombers are giving you a dance workshop that is cheap and filled with fun new stuff to add to your dancing! It's at the dance studio, here's the schedule:
10 - Challenging Charleston - Just what you think, some exciting patterns to put some kick in your partner charleston
11 - Mind Blowing Moves - Let's expand your lindy hop and your mind, with the powerful drug of dance
12 - Hustle and Flow - Everything's better smooth, including your dancing! We'll focus on the flow in this class.
Classes are $7 each or $15 for all three!

BIG EVENTS
We have a trio of awesome dance events you want to make it out to:

November 15th - SOCKHOP! Ronnie Choy is back to DJ you back to a better time of malt shops, greased hair, and poodle skirts. It's bound to be a magical evening you won't want to miss, so dress the part and enjoy yourself!

December 13th - Christmas Party! Info in the Live Band section, but also be aware there will be door prizes, and MEMBERS GET IN FREE! It's our Christmas gift to you.

December 31st - New Year's Eve party! We'll have food, dancing, and the Dance Man Ronnie Choy! Come dance in the New Year with us. Party will get started at 9 PM and run until 1 AM. More info to come soon, but mark your calendar (as if you could forget the date!) it's going to be a very fun time.

We're working our way towards the end of the year, and we have plenty of dancing to squeeze in before then. Hope you'll help us do it!
