Hello dancers! You are on a roll lately! Thanks to all of you who came out to make the Sock Hop a great time. Before we get into the nuts and bolts today, a little bit of housekeeping:
1) If you are the people in the attached picture, or know who they are, please contact me immediately.
2) Are you a WSDS member? If not, please take a second to read the following: A membership costs you $25 a year or $15 a year if you are a student, in the military, or at least 55 years old.
Now is a great time to become a member, and here's why:
You don't pay to get in the door the night you join = you save $5
You don't pay to get into the WSDS Christmas Party = you save $10
You get in cheaper every week = you save $2/week
So, if you qualify for the discounted membership it will pay for itself in just two nights. If you do not, your membership will almost pay for itself entirely before it is even 2010! The year membership starts the night you join, so it behooves you to start saving yourself money participating in your favorite hobby. Just something to think about......
3) The next membership meeting will be Sunday, January 3rd. It'll run in the studio basement from 6:30 - 7:15 PM. A chance to hear what we've been up to since the elections, and a chance to talk with your board directly. Hope to see you there.

Sunday - Another great evening featuring Advanced East Coast Swing lessons!
Tuesday - Swing Night at the Shadow! Come on out to 550 N. Rock Rd and preemptively dance off some of that turkey and stuffing. FREE dancing from 6-9, all ages are welcome!

December 13th - WSDS Christmas Party! We'll be featuring the best band you've seen in the studio all year....the Dave Stephens Band! This great dance evening is free to members, it's our Christmas gift to you! Everyone else pays just $10. We'll also have some door prizes, food, and a dance contest to win tickets to the WSDS NYE party! Speaking of which...
December 31st - Come help us Swing in the New Year! There'll be food, dancing, and the dance man Ronnie Choy! Party will be getting started at 9 PM. Location and other details coming very soon, cost is $10 in advance, $15 at the door.

January 24th - The Benders The Benders The Benders The Benders The Benders! (It'll make sense what you see them) Making their triumphant return to the studio, these guys will get you dancing, and fast. Don't miss a surefire fun evening.
