Wichita Swing Dance Society

 

Hello dancers! 

Come out and get your dance fix this Dance Card Sunday.  Sunday we start our series classes!  

 

SUNDAY CLASSES

September new class format:

Upstairs

6:30 - 7:30 Lindy Hop 101 (series)

7:30 - 8:00 Beginning Swing –East Coast Swing (drop in)

Downstairs
6:30 - 7:30 Partner Charleston (series)

 

We're offering Lindy Hop 101 and Partner Charleston!  You pass will get you admission to either series class at 6:30, the drop in class at 7:30, and the dance at 8, every Sunday in September!  Cost for a member pass is $20, for non-members it's $30.  Be aware, you can't join the series part way through the month.  For those that have time conflicts and unable to attend the series class, show up at 7:30 for the drop in class and the dance for the normal $4/$6!


OTHER CLASSES

Monday nights the Lindy Bombers meet at Morningstar Community Church with classes for intermediate and advanced levels.   Class starts at 7:30, taster class at 8:30.  This months taster is Al & Leon Shim Sham with a side of chicken sandwich!  If you are interested in being part of the Lindy Bomber dance team, auditions are on September 19th.   Check out www.lindybombers.com for details!

Wednesday nights has a new option.  If you liked what you learned in the taster class last month (Blues) you are in luck.  Blues in the Basement happens 8-10 pm at Harry Reese Dance Studio and only $5.
